Ways To Give >

Volunteer

An hour a week, respect for children, and a desire to make a difference are the main requirements for volunteering at the Boys & Girls Clubs of Alachua County.  We have many different opportunities at each of our locations. Volunteers are needed year-round for academic advancement, coaching team sports, weight training and conditioning, art instruction, teen activities, computer instruction, science research and fund raising events. Volunteers are the lifeblood of any good organization. At the Boys & Girls Clubs of Alachua County, we value your commitment to helping children. Volunteers are needed in a variety of areas at each Club: Academic, mentoring, the arts and athletics. Volunteers are also needed at various special events throughout the year. If you'd like to volunteer in any capacity, please call Laura Javidi at (352) 372-5342.

The Boys & Girls Clubs of Alachua County welcomes individuals and groups of volunteers to help us inspire and enable our young people. Volunteers act as adult role models and can contribute on many levels. The gift of a volunteer’s time and talents is very much appreciated. At The Positive Place for Kids, their future is bright!
